Rooted in Faith
How can we believe and be transformed by the gospel? Once we understand that the gospel is not merely good news but explosive, life-changing news, we will never be the same again. And in response to God's work in our lives, what part can we play in recreating the world for his good plan? In this powerful book, Fr. John Riccardo helps us to see the world through God's lens, with a clear vision of the future. Fr. John's 177-page book in five sections provides a clearer understanding of the Kerygma. The five week book study will be done via Zoom. Participants must purchase the book which is about $12.99 plus tax and shipping from Amazon.
The first ten people to Register on-line will receive a free copy of the book that will be available at the rectory.
Meetings are Thursdays, 7:00 PM, VIA ZOOM, August 5, August 12, August 19, August 26, September 2
The Wild Goose series is truly a work of the Holy Spirit. “Wild Goose” was a term that the ancient Celts had for the Holy Spirit. It is a 14-part series featuring reflections from Fr. Dave Pivonka and others. Shot in various locations from Niagara Falls to the California desert, The Wild Goose invites viewers to an encounter, or a renewed encounter, with the Holy Spirit. The study guides can be found at https://thewildgooseisloose.com/
Meetings will be Tuesday’s 7:00 PM VIA ZOOM, starting August 3
What is faith? Who is Jesus? If God is real, why is there evil in the world?
