St. Rita's Catholic School Choir is composed of students from second through eighth grade. The Choir sings at all school Masses. The Choir also sings on the first and third Sunday of each month during the school year at the Sunday 8:00 A.M. Mass. Students in grades four through eight are invited to become Cantors. They then become lead singers at various functions in church and school.
Our Catholic School Choir sings Christmas Carols in the local nursing home. They perform in the annual Christmas program at the school. They also participate in diocesan wide school concerts. When they are invited, our students participate in San Diego city-wide sponsored choir events. Our choir is so popular that nearly one-third of our student body participates in the choir!
