Divine Renovation: Bringing your Parish from Maintenance to Mission by Father James Mallon
As a teenager, Father Mallon was always perplexed by the enthusiasm he experienced at his Cursillo weekend compared to Mass. He got his calling to the priesthood years after and always strived to bring that vibrant spirit to Mass. After fourteen years as priest and pastor, he identified Ten Building Blocks that brought his parish from maintenance to mission. The foundation of his parish was Alpha and he said it changed his ministry and the dynamics of the parish. Father Mallon shares his many experiences and wisdom in the book and now evolved to a global ministry to help parishes on every continent return to its original mission to go and make disciples.
