Parish Leadership Formation
On July 20, 2020, the Vatican released Instruction "The pastoral conversion of the Parish community in the service of the evangelizing mission of the Church." In the conclusion of the Instruction, (#122)“the Parish must constantly face changes taking place in today’s culture and in the existential reality of persons, in order to explore creatively new ways and methods that allow it to be at the height of its primary function, that is, being a force of evangelization.”
The primary focus of the Parish Leadership series is to equip the saints for work of ministry and to focus on the mission of the Church, Jesus’s mission to go and make disciples, through a study on evangelization, discipleship and the renewal of the Church.
The Parish Leadership Formation will continue on Monday, August 10, 17 and 24, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM with three sessions on Evangelization. Evangelization is a mystery to many Catholics as it was seen as the task for missionary priests and religious. As we witness the decline in Church attendance and participation, it's evident that we are in a more secular world. How is the faith being passed down to new generations in our family?
